Birthday weekend!!!

It was a fun weekend filled with Birthday stuff all for me. It was my golden birthday I turned 24 on the 24th! To celebrate we went to BBQ's with both our families and had a great time with my cousins and all the little kids. We also did fireworks and did a ton of sparklers (as we had a ton left over from our wedding) . I got lots of cute clothes, jewelry, movies, and secondhand serenade tickets (which was on Saturday night). It was a great weekend!Blowing out the candles on my second better than sex cake! Zach's mom made it for me and my mom...yes...it was to die for!

We're parents...

Yes, it is true we are parents to a 3 lb, 13 week old little Yorkshire Terrier! His name is Bentley, he is fun and cuddly and loves to play! I have wanted a Yorkie since I was in high school so I was so excited when Zach got him for me for an early birthday gift. This is the first dog I have ever owned (yes, my mom deprived me when I was a child) He is so dang cute. It is so weird how much you can love a dog. I couldn't even watch them give him his puppy shots and I am such a sucker for his little whine. He is so dang cute, now I wish I could leave class so I could go home and play with him!

He loves to cuddle and fall asleep with us...he hates that we make him sleep in the kennel at night so he loves it when he can catch a quick nap with us!

Time flies!

I can't believe that we have been married over a month now. It seems like just yesterday, it has been the best and busiest month of my life. We have been working and going to school and that is occupying most of our time. We have had a little bit of time and this is what we have been up too...

I asked Zach to cut some Watermelon for a BBQ we went to, and this is what I found when I walked in our kitchen...doesn't he look cute in my apron!And finally, Happy 1 month anniversary to us! We decided to cut the top of our cake on our month anniversary instead of our year. We heard that it tastes so bad if you wait a year...and we were sick of having that big thing in our freezer! It was great!

Honeymoon Picture Fest!

Yeah...we finally have Internet hooked up in our apartment! Yahoo!!! A week without Internet was one of the hardest things I have ever done (I know I sound pathetic)! Here are some pictures from our honeymoon to Cancun! Enjoy!

We're Married!!!!

Oh my heck, it has been crazy! Our wedding day was wonderful. It was the only day in June that it hasn't rained!!!! Everything was perfect...well except my cake was tipping over, but who cares it was just a cake! The ceremony was perfect, the luncheon was great, and the reception turned out fantastic! I wish the day would have gone by slower so I could have enjoyed it a little more, but all and all it was the perfect day! Thanks to all the family and friends who made the day special, we love you and are so grateful for such an amazing family and friends!!! Your love and support meant the world to us!

After the big day we headed off to Cancun, Mexico! It was wonderful! I will post some pictures later when I get home...it was the best honeymoon I could have ever asked for!

We came home and opened our gifts, we got so many great gifts!!!! Our apartment is a disaster though as we both have had homework to do and haven't had time to put any of it away! It is driving my crazy having our house so disorganized!

I love being married, it has been the best 12 days of my life, this morning was really sad though. Zach and I have not been apart at all for the past 12 days and when we woke up and had to go to work (and then I have school after till 10) it was hard to leave him, its not even noon and I want to cry because I miss him. I know that sounds corny and weird, but it is true! Eh...can't it be 10pm already??? Sorry I am a sap...I will post more later, but right now I have more pleased than punch and happier than I ever thought was possible!!!

Temple

I went through the Draper temple last night. It was amazing! I loved it! I am sure many of you can relate, but it is indescribable! I am so glad Zach and many of my friends and family were able to be there with me! Zach really is the perfect person for me, he was amazing to me last night in very personal way, I just still don't understand how or why he would chose me! Anyway, I took my camera and as we went to take pictures...NO BATTERY! Good thing my sister came prepared. So I will try to post some pictures as soon as I get them from her. I can't believe we only have 6 more days till we are married and in one week we will be on a plane to Mexico! It's so exciting and I just can't wait, until then it is going to be very busy around here with all the last minute stuff like tying ribbons on things, learning how to set up the gazebo that is going to hold our cake, finishing the scrapbook for the signing book, finish moving in and unpacking our apartment, finishin cleaning out my old room and all sorts of last minute things! I am so excited!

any ideas?

I can't believe the wedding is only 2 weeks away! I am getting so excited and people keep asking me if I am nervous. I am not nervous at all, just so excited! We moved into our apartment last week (it already looks so cute) and I have had a ton of showers the past few weeks and the last one is tonight.
It is also Zach's Birthday on Sunday, and I want to do something fun on Monday during the day since we both have it off. Does anyone have any fun unique suggestions that I could do that would be fun and make it special?
