Winter Break!

We are done with school! Zach is now a college graduate in Finance! I am so excited and so proud of him! Being done with finals also marked the half way point for me graduating from grad school. So weird to think that in a few months I will be a therapist...not an intern! I am loving school though and I am so grateful for the opportunity I have had to go back and for Zach who has worked so hard to support us while I do!We are also excited for our first year as our own family. Zach is getting so so so spoiled I have spent so much money on him and have gotten him a few big surprises! I will give you details after he opens them!

We are so grateful this season for our families and friends. Everyone in our lives are so amazing and we could not ever ask for more! We are grateful for the savior Jesus Christ, his example and sacrifice. He is the foundation in our life. It is nice to be done to slow down and really ponder the reason for the season! We just want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and how you find a lot of JOY in your Holiday Season! We are going to take this break to enjoy each other, our family, and to just relax and enjoy not doing homework every night!
Sorry these pics are from last year! I am getting a new camera for christmas and so I haven't really been taking pics, but I will post after christmas with my new DSLR camera! I can't wait to get it!

Class project

For a class we need to promote and advocate for a social injustice that we are passionate about. The girls in my groups and I are all extremely passionate about human trafficking and we wanted to educate our community about this world wide problem. We have narrowed the region we researched to India and Thailand. Please watch this quick video to help spread the awareness...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KdQnKpMOTWA
Thanks

Settle the Score

Ya, Utah lost...that stinks especially since we had come back from so far behind. However, I realized that their is always next year, and at least I have last year that will always make me feel better! I will take the loss over having Max Hall as a quarter back...enough said. Oh, and ya I loved the way BYU fans treated me while I was at the game. Nothing like having a drunk BYU fan get in your face and having to have your husband push him away from me...classy! This is not directed towards all BYU fans (as most of my family are BYU fans) however, I just thought I would make a point that U fans are not the only ones who are rude and take things to far...that is it I am done talking about it.

So...I married a BYU fan!

There is a bit of a rivalry going on between Zach and me. I knew it would be an issue once a year but I did not think it would be this hard. You see, I am a U fan as most of you know. Zach is a BYU fan, I mean a huge BYU fan. I have tried to be supportive of his fetish, as I have given up quality time so he can check stats, and I even listen to all the BYU updates when in the car while we are driving.
You see I thought it would only be an issue once a year, however, in the 6 months we have been married this issue of BYU vs UTAH has been the main cause of most of our fights (I know pathetic huh). I have tried to be supportive and I have tried to get a little excited so he feels like I care about his interests, I have even appeased and dealt with his BYU loving family. I even went to the great length and have gotten him a BYU sweatshirt for Christmas (shh…don’t tell him).
I just can’t do it anymore. I think I will have to teach him a lesson next week when our two beloved teams come together again to battle it out.
Dear Zach,
I love you so much, you are such a great husband. However, I can’t stand your love for BYU. Although it will be hard, I will love every minute that I watch you squirm as my Ute’s whip those Cougar butts! I have tried to act adult about the situation, however, I intend on using this win for future fights and bragging rights. I hope you understand!
Love,
Your sweet wife!

October, 09!

Oh my gosh! Time is going so fast , I can't believe it is almost the middle of November! October was a great month! We have been extremely busy and we are always on the go, but we did have some time for some fun things in the middle of our crazy ride...

We had time to squeeze in a Ute Game with my most two favorite girls ever! I have known Danielle since I was a little girl and we met Alina at school. We all got into grad school together and we have all the same classes. The best thing about our friendship is that we are all so different, yet alike and it seems that even though we are different we just "get each other" and support each other! These girls are the best and I am so glad they are there to help me tough out grad school! I love you ladies!

I can't forget the awesome Halloween party we went to that Cade and Lisa had. We were cavemen and they were the Kennedy's (pardon his bullet hole). We also went to my sisters for a family Halloween party and to watch the kids trick-or-treat! It was by far the best Halloween I have had in years!

I can't forget Bentley was a pumpkin for Halloween! He hated his costume so bad he didn't move from where I put it on him for 3 hours, and when he did move it was because I finally took it off of him. Maybe next year he'll wear it long enough for me to take a quick picture! Happy October...on to the HOLIDAYS, YAHOO!!!!

Gotta Love Life!

Well nothing to exciting has been going on lately. School is going well for both Zach and I, Zach can't wait to finish up his last semester and I can't believe I am already almost done with my first semester!
Although I am stressed a lot and haven't been the most pleasant person the past few weeks, as school has been super crazy, I have the best family in the world! Who wouldn't love their life if every day they came home to both of these cute faces!
Bentley has started to do this cute thing with his tongue...I don't think he realizes that it hangs out half the time! It is so cute!

These two have been the best ever! Zach has been working so hard to provide for us and Bentley has been my best friend as he lays by my side when I am doing my homework! How in the world did I ever get so lucky!
Also as you can tell, we have gone from shaggy hair to short and trim hair. Bentley went to the groomer and has two cute little green bows in his hair. I am still trying to upload the picture from my phone though!
Just though I would give you an update and post some pictures of the two loves of my life!

Busy and Crazy!

Well school is in swing full force...and I am thinking that I might have bitten off more than I can chew by taking 18 credits my first semester of graduate school. So my blog posts might be few and far between for the next little while. So, like I was saying...School is crazy busy, but is is great, and I am learning a lot!
My internship is really great too. It is so weird being introduced as "the new therapist". It has been a very good experience. I am doing my internship at a youth residential treatment center and it is interesting (and really sad sometimes) to hear the issues these teens are dealing with. But all and all it is great!
Zach and Bentley are doing awesome too. Zach started his last semester! We both can't wait until he finishes up in December! Bentley is doing good in his puppy classes and now weighs 5lbs, he is getting so big it is crazy! Well I don't have anything else to interesting to say, I just thought I would give you a little update and let you know that we are still alive and doing well...wish me luck this semester I am sure going to need it!

2 months

Yesterday was the 2 month mark since this day...

I just love this picture of me and Chayse. I think it is so sweet!
When I got married my best friend became my cousin and I got a new little sister. Love you Jac and Hope!

Since that day things have gotten better everyday and I wake up everyday even more in love with Zach. Our families are great and I love love love having a little sister. It is so fun to hear about her life, dating and having girl talk!
Now, there is one thing I am confused about. Everyone told me after you get married it is so hard adjusting to living with another person and that the first year is the HARDEST year of your marriage...what? Maybe my marriage is different, but it has been nothing but bliss. Don't get me wrong we have had to have some talks about little things, but just normal little things. Is it true is it really going to get worse? And hey if this is the worst year of our marriage, it only makes me that much more excited for the "forever" that I will be with him! I don't want to brag to much, I am just going to say that I have the best husband in the world! He is just perfect for me!

Birthday weekend!!!

It was a fun weekend filled with Birthday stuff all for me. It was my golden birthday I turned 24 on the 24th! To celebrate we went to BBQ's with both our families and had a great time with my cousins and all the little kids. We also did fireworks and did a ton of sparklers (as we had a ton left over from our wedding) . I got lots of cute clothes, jewelry, movies, and secondhand serenade tickets (which was on Saturday night). It was a great weekend!Blowing out the candles on my second better than sex cake! Zach's mom made it for me and my mom...yes...it was to die for!

Zach playing Baseball with Mckay.
As you can see Chayse loves birthday cake!

Grandma Robi, Chayse, and Riley.

You can't tell that we love love love our little Bentley can you? (Hahaha, he is in almost every picture!)
Here are some pictures of Zach and I rocking out at secondhand serenade! It was fabulous!

What a great weekend...

We're parents...

Yes, it is true we are parents to a 3 lb, 13 week old little Yorkshire Terrier! His name is Bentley, he is fun and cuddly and loves to play! I have wanted a Yorkie since I was in high school so I was so excited when Zach got him for me for an early birthday gift. This is the first dog I have ever owned (yes, my mom deprived me when I was a child) He is so dang cute. It is so weird how much you can love a dog. I couldn't even watch them give him his puppy shots and I am such a sucker for his little whine. He is so dang cute, now I wish I could leave class so I could go home and play with him!
He is some pictures of our cute little Bentley, eat your heart out!
He loves to cuddle and fall asleep with us...he hates that we make him sleep in the kennel at night so he loves it when he can catch a quick nap with us!
