Budha Belly and Weekend getaway

Well first off to celebrate our anniversary we went up to park city for a few days. I thought it was going to be fun, but I didn't realize how much fun it was going to be! It was like a mini honeymoon, it was nice not to do anything much besides be together. We went to some awesome restaurants and did a lot of shopping! When we checked in the lady asked us why we came to park city when we live in Salt Lake and we told her to celebrate our first anniversary. Later that night she sent us up some chocolate covered strawberries (isn't that so thoughtful)...I was in heaven!

Also, I am almost half way done with this pregnancy garbage. I am feeling so huge! I am sorry, I hate being pregnant everyone always tells me how wonderful it is, but really I flat out hate it! I am still sick and throwing up everyday and I just feel so yucky all the time! However, I am so grateful for the opportunity to be pregnant!

These pictures can't be right, I can't be that big already!!! Maybe I had a big dinner and was pushing out or something...I better take some more just to make sure. I have a feeling that I won't like the results! For those of you that have kids, were you this big at 18 weeks? I feel like I am a lot bigger than I should be.

Happy ONE year to us...

I really can not believe it has been a year since this...

It is still so crazy in one sense, it seems like it was yesterday that we got married. However, in another way I can't remember what it is like to sleep alone, to not live with him, not to have our life together. Every time I think about being married I think about that song "I thought I loved you then" (or something like that) because it is so true. I thought I loved Zach when we go engaged, and now that I think about it I knew relatively nothing about him. I thought I loved him on our wedding day, however, my love has grown exponentially over the last year. I am assuming the first time I see him with our little girl my love will grow even more. I just still can't believe how lucky I was to find someone that is so perfect for me. I envy him so much in so many ways, in all the areas I lack he excels in! He never ceases to amaze me with how patient, supportive, and loving he is, especially when I don't deserve it! Happy one year to us! One year down...forever to go!

It's a....

We went and got our ultrasound yesterday. A friend told me to drink apple juice before we went to make the baby move and it sure worked. Our baby was moving like crazy. It is weird how much it is moving and I can't feel a thing! Here are a few pictures from the ultrasound.Results are in, it is definitely a....GIRL!!!!!

We are so excited. I started shopping a while ago and was buying both girl and boy clothes so now I am excited to take back all the little boy stuff and trade it in for little girl clothes. Also, I am excited to shop for big bows for her hair (hopefully she takes after Zach and is born with a full head of dark hair and isn't bald like I was!)

As for other exciting stuff. Zach turned 25 on Monday and we had 2 parties for him and we went to dinner at his favorite Rodizo Grill. It was a pretty great day. Happy Birthday Babe!

I also made my first thing from scratch...ever. I made him is favorite banana cake. It was a success. Maybe I will try this baking thing more often. It tasted so good and I was very proud of myself!

On another note. I was reading a friend blog yesterday and it was all about her husband and their love story. I just sat and bawled. It was not only a sweet story but it reminded me of mine and Zach's story. I will follow up and tell you all about our beginning later, however, I am just want to say that I love Zach with all my heart. I love our marriage and our friendship. When we first started dating I was very stand off-ish and did not want a relationship as I had just gotten out of one and my heart was shattered. Thanks Zach for being so patient for a long time and waiting for me. I love you and hope you had a wonderful birthday!

Boy or Girl?

I just made the appointment. We find out if baby G. is a boy or a girl on Wednesday! We are so dang excited I can hardly stand it! What do you think we'll have running around our house snips, snails, and puppy dog tails or suger and spice and everything nice? I don't know, I have my intuitions though. However, the real results will show on Wednesday! Well at least I hope our child isn't shy and wants to show us his/her goods! I will keep you posted!

Graduation

Here are so pictures from graduation. I am so excited to be done with my masters and the relief I have knowing I will never ever return to school again. Now, we are working on getting Zach into grad school. Finding time to study for the GMAT will be rough with summer coming, but Zach is trying. I am so proud of us and excited to start our future careers.

These girls are amazing! I could not have gotten through grad school with out them. They have become some of the best friend I could ever ask for! Thanks again ladies, love you!

Yes, its true!

So our little family has quite a lot going on right now.We just got back from our vacation to San Diego, which was hectic at first but ended up being wonderful! I attended Graduation last night which was really exciting. Zach has his graduation tonight and oh ya....I'M PREGNANT!!!! Short and sweet and to the point huh! We are excited about all of them except being home from vacation! I am almost 13 weeks along and I have been so sick! Here some pictures of our excellent adventures!

The Pregnancy test...and the verdict is...PREGNANT. Don't worry I took 4 more just to make sure! Me at 13 weeks, I feel huge already! Some days my tummy is super flat and other days it is huge! Is that normal?

It is being dumb and won't let me upload anymore pictures. So I will post some pictures of graduation and our vacation soon!

Done, done, and done

I am sorry it has been so long since I have updated this thing...I have been so busy with finishing up school. I am happy to say I am done with my master's degree! It is so crazy! I just finished up this morning. We are going on a much needed VACA next week for a week and a half to a beach house in San Diego. So when I get back I will post again with pictures of that and graduation and our little family update...so stay tuned...if anyone even looks at this thing anymore!
